British sparkling wines by the East Sussex based Rathfinny vineyard were the stars of a Tasting Evening hosted by Doddington Hall Farm Shop.

Rathfinny’s brand ambassador, Richard James, was joined by Kate McFruin of Liberty Wines to introduce the estate and the story behind the range of vintage wines and spirit produced there.

Guests were welcomed with a Rathfinny Seven Sisters Gin and tonic. The gin is made from the third pressing of the grapes and has heightened citrus notes.

Doddington were served with the four wines which followed: the Classic Cuvée Brut, Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Noirs and finally the Rosé Brut.

The Rathfinny range of wines and gin are available from the wine department of Doddington Farm Shop.
