Crystal Charity Ball
Springfields Conference Centre was the venue for the sixth Crystal Charity Ball. Previous records for totals on the night were smashed with more than £13,000 raised for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. Guests enjoyed a three course dinner, bacon sandwiches at midnight and danced to Rutland based band Funk Soul Brother and DJ Shaun Neal. Lead member of the organising committee Kelly Beba began the event in aid of her late father who passed away from lung cancer in 2011.
