Scunthorpe Lions Club arbour

To celebrate their 50th year, Scunthorpe Lions Club wanted to plan something extra special. After discussions with North Lincolnshire Council it was agreed to construct a rose arbour in the grounds of the Civic Centre. The arbour is located outside the Register Office and now makes a beautiful backdrop for couples having wedding photographs taken.

Councillor Trevor Foster, the Mayor of North Lincolnshire officially opened the arbour in October, accompanied by his wife, Angela.

A stainless steel plaque fitted to the arbour acknowledges the help of many local businesses and individuals who helped to make the project happen.
