Summer Exhibition of Quilts

This fascinating exhibition at Doddington Hall is entitled ‘Voices from the Inside’. Curated in partnership with Fine Cell Work (the charity which trains men and women in prison to do high-quality, paid needlework), the exhibition features several pieces made by prisoners, alongside other works made by carers, invalids, soldiers and artists. Quilts have also been loaned by Stella McCartney and another was created by Grayson Perry. At the launch evening author Tracey Chevalier spoke about a quilt she has loaned.

The exhibition continues until Monday August 31st.
