Thousands attend the spring Bailgate Wedding Fayre

Over 3,000 people turned out for the spring Bailgate Wedding Fayre, giving prospective brides and grooms the unique chance to visit seven venues and over seventy wedding suppliers in one day.
Mark Hollingworth, chairman of the Bailgate Guild, said: “We know that the Bailgate Wedding Fayre had the potential to be popular – but I never thought that our first one would attract so many people. We are absolutely delighted.

“Lincoln is a stunning city, with its world class heritage and jaw-dropping architecture. It is the perfect backdrop for a wedding, and by hosting the fayre across a series of venues, people were able to see and experience so much more than they would at a traditional wedding fayre.

“Feedback has all been really positive, but we’ve got bigger and better plans for the next Bailgate Wedding Fayre, which will be held on Sunday 13th October”.
