A Taste of Excellence 2014

We invite you to vote for your favourite café, tea room, pub, bistro or restaurant in Lincolnshire.
Now into our seventeenth year, Lincolnshire Life will be launching our annual County Cuisine Awards – A Taste of Excellence from June.

Our search for the best eateries takes us across the county and we rely on you, our readers, and customers to vote for your favourite establishment.

Our awards are kindly sponsored by Select Lincolnshire, House of Townend wine merchants and Heart of Gold Homegrown Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil.

We also recognise young talent with our Young Chef competition, sponsored by Lincoln College. This will see three finalists producing a three-course meal, which will be scrutinised by a judging panel. Previous finalists have gone on to having exciting careers in catering with this prestigious award.

There are three categories in which you can vote: Heart of Gold Best Coffee Shop or Tea Room, Select Lincolnshire Best Pub and House of Townend Best Restaurant. Your vote will not only help your chosen establishment, but all nominations will be entered into a competition to win a meal for two at one of the winning establishments from last year’s competition.

Lincolnshire is renowned for our excellent food produce, and Lincolnshire Life’s County Cuisine Awards – A Taste of Excellence offers readers and customers a way to recognise the best eating establishments covering the whole county.

The culmination of the competition is an awards ceremony which will be held later in the year.

HOW TO ENTER
From next month we will be including nomination forms in Lincolnshire Life magazine which you can fill in and return to us.

We will also be sending nomination forms to all the establishments on our database. If you don’t think you are on this or would like to receive more forms please contact us on 01522 527127.

You will also be able to enter online at www.lincolnshirelife.co.uk. There will be a direct link to the online entry form on the nomination forms so you can vote straight away.

We will also be taking nominations by our social media channels, Facebook.com/LincolnshireLife and Twitter @LincsLife
