Lincolnshire Life are proud to be once again associated with this year’s Select Lincolnshire Food & Drink Awards.
This celebration of the county’s food and drink industry will be held at The White Heather on Tuesday 3rd February where the prestigious Select Lincolnshire Food and Drink Awards and Lincolnshire Life’s ‘Taste of Excellence’ County Cuisine Awards will be presented to the stars of the food and hospitality industry.

A TASTE OF EXCELLENCE
LINCOLNSHIRE LIFE COUNTY CUISINE AWARDS

The competition judges are out and about sampling the three best establishments in the three categories of the Lincolnshire Life County Cuisine Awards: House of Townend Best Restaurant; Tastes of Lincolnshire Best Pub Food and Heart of Gold Best Tearoom or Coffee Shop. The finalists will be invited to the glittering awards ceremony which will be held on Tuesday 3rd February at The White Heather, Hemswell Cliff. Lincolnshire Life is delighted to be associated with this event in partnership with Select Lincolnshire who will be presenting their own Food and Drink Awards 2015 alongside the Lincolnshire Life County Cuisine Awards.

The Young Chef competition will be taking place imminently and we are looking forward to sampling some of the best food from Lincolnshire’s Young Chefs. Last year’s winner William Hart wowed the judges with his menu of Lincolnshire venison with chocolate and juniper jus followed by a pudding of chocolate fondant with Fisherman’s Friend ice cream.

The White Heather will serve a stunning, locally sourced fine dining menu to the 200 guests of the Lincolnshire food scene; and Select Lincolnshire are pleased to be working with their Head Chef to create a showcase of the county’s finest cuisine.

Tickets are now on sale now for 3rd February and prices have been held at the 2014 rates of £50 per person and £450 per table of ten (10% discount). The Awards are open to all those involved in the county’s food industry. This year’s event sold out very quickly and organisers would advise you to reserve your ticket quickly to ensure availability.

Tickets are now on sale for the Awards and can be ordered from enquiries@lincs-chamber.co.uk or call 01522 846923

The evening starts with a drinks reception at 7pm with carriages for 11.30pm. This is a ‘black tie’ occasion.
