We’re over half way through our nomination process now and it’s been exciting to see all the venues we’ve received nominations from.
It is always great to get customer feedback and so far we’ve received over 9,000 votes. This is just a snapshot as our accounts team are always inundated with piles of nominations as the closing weeks draw near. By the deadline they have spent countless hours going through each of the forms and adding them to our ever growing database. Our online nominations have also exceeded previous years, and it’s great to see customers getting involved.

We also have our hotly fought Chef of the Year competition which is sponsored by Freshtime. This is the perfect place for chefs to showcase their creative flair. We are very lucky to be working with the team at College Hall, RAF Cranwell where the successful chefs invited to take part in our cook-off will get the opportunity to produce their menu for our distinguished judges. For more information or to request a nomination form contact Katrina on 01522 689671 or k.burrill@km-media.co.uk 20th September is the deadline for our Chef of the Year nominations.

Last but by no means least is our Young Chef competition where we are looking for stars of the future. Open to chefs under the age of 24, our judges are looking for creative flair and attention to detail. The competition will take place in October and we’re happy to welcome Pilgrim Foodservice as our sponsor this year.
